Paul is urging the Ephesians to walk worthy of who they are and showing them some characteristics of someone walking the walk in their daily lives showing Jesus in everything they do.

Here we have Paul’s second prayer in the book of Ephesians. This is a prayer of petition to God. He is asking for strength from God, that Christ will dwell in their hearts, and that God will give them comprehension.

Paul proclaims the mystery of the Gentiles being fellow heirs of the promise in Christ with the Jews.

In this text Paul is talking about two groups of people. The Gentiles and the Jews. The people located at the church in Ephesus were Gentiles, and we are Gentiles. Christ has brought us together.
